WHAT WE OFFER

Swimming Pools - installation, servicing or repair - below ground:

This classification applies to contractors engaged in the installation, servicing or repair of below ground swimming pools. This classification includes all operations directly related to the construction of the in-ground swimming pool including, but not limited to excavation, plumbing work, tile or masonry work, electrical wiring, installing accessories such as diving boards and slides, and the setting of electrical motors or pumps.

In concrete pool construction, the side and bottom contours are sculpted by hand after the initial excavation is made. A crushed stone base may be laid and a network of steel reinforcing rods is constructed over the sides and bottom. Concrete is poured and molded between and over the steel rods and around the plumbing fittings. Coping is placed over the upper cement edge and sealed with grouting. Tile may be laid around the water line. The pool may be coated with a special white cement - marble finish or painted and the concrete apron is poured.

Swimming Pools - installation, servicing or repair - above ground:

This class contemplates the erection of the frame of the pool, if necessary, and the assembly of the panels, the installation of the liner, the addition of accessories, such as diving boards or slides, and the installation of equipment, such as filters, and all incidental plumbing and wiring work.

Swimming Pool – Servicing:

This will usually occur at regular intervals in which the swimming pool is vacuumed and the water is tested for appropriate pH and chemical levels and chemical may be added if necessary to maintain acceptable levels. If any major repair work is necessary, such work is performed by another entity. Servicing also includes the opening and closing of swimming pools for others, this encompasses the installation and removal of the pool covers along with the connecting and disconnecting of the hoses to the pool filter and the testing of the equipment to verify proper working order.
